We have been monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) carefully. Our number one priority is to ensure the health and safety of our clients and staff while still maintaining our daily activities. With the ongoing news about the outbreak, we will continue to follow the lead of Alberta Health Services authorities.
Effective March 19, 2020, our office will be closed to the public. The closure will be effective until April 3, 2020, and the situation will be reassessed at that time. While a majority of staff continue to work on client projects, in-office and remotely, there could be delays in responding to emails, voicemails as we settle in our new workflow. We apologize for any delays and will ensure work is completed prior to any deadlines not deferred by the government (GST, payroll deductions, etc).
Tax filing and payment deadlines have been deferred. Read more on that here.
For larger items and documents that cannot be submitted electronically, we will set up a secure drop box outside our office doors with instructions.
At Pivotal, we have the resources needed to work with our clients remotely. If required, our staff is prepared to work from home with little to no disruptions to our daily operations. We can set up meetings via phone, Skype or screen sharing for a hands-on presentation.
Again, the safety of our community is of the utmost importance to us, and we assure you we are carefully monitoring the situation in Canada and around the world. For more information about Coronavirus, please consult the following website: https://www.alberta.ca/coronavirus-info-for-albertans.aspx
We encourage you to keep checking this post for any updates to the situation and our response to it.
